There is nothing that I love to see more than an absolute boss lady taking charge, running her business and not needing anyone’s help. Except, seeing two absolute boss ladies working together to create a company with room for both of their unique personalities and strengths and just supporting the crap out of each other in general.
I love Jaka Jamu because it’s delicious, trendy, super hydrating and run by two literally awesome power babes, Caitlin and Kristina.

The road to a sugar free lifestyle is paved with setbacks, failures and obligatory birthday cakes, but it is 100% a road worth traveling. My journey to quit sugar started for me when I quit my job. A job that I loved by included too many cupcakes for breakfast and frosting taste tests.
In order for me to get to a place where I don’t consume any sugar, I need time and I need a lot of help. Each month I’m still noticing what feels like a significant improvement in the way I not only eat sugar, but also the way I feel regarding sugar. It’s been three years. For that, I have my own determination and three awesome products to thank.

The last time I had three days all to myself, I decided I just wouldn’t eat.
I know it sounds so drastic when I say it like that, but to tell you I attempted a 72 hour fast is like, yawn.

I firmly believe that this is a familiar moment for a lot of people who do cooking in bulk. Imagine this. You’ve been cooking for a while. Dishes are piled up next to your sink basin, and you’ve just placed some unspecified but well washed cut of meat down into some hot oil to sear.
Now. There are three instincts probably running through your brain right now. The first, is that you’ve just been handling meat, cleaning it, seasoning it and dropping it in the pan. You need to wash your hands.
The second, is that you desperately want to wiggle that pieces of meat around to see how its going. You want to get in there with your nosey little tongs and make sure it’s browning well. A truly counter intuitive impulse that would interrupt your browning.
Third, there is a screaming coming from behind your eyes about how washing those dishes is literally the last thing in this world you want to deal with right now. My scum bag brain can’t be the only one that insists, ‘Only cook. No clean.’.
Now. Lets fix all three of these problems with one new habit.
